"...Over and Out..." Roger!

So I saw a young girl playing with her baby sister or brother the other day and I couldn't help to wonder how exaggerated her/his crying was when their older sibling kept messing with them. Because 5 minutes later the baby was over it...whatever 'it' was.

Now as babies grow older, they are taught and 'programmed' certain doctrines into their life. Like how to talk and listen; how to laugh and cry; and of course how to love and hate. Ultimately these doctrines are all influenced by parental and environmental factors.

In the past, it would beget me as to why on earth it would take so long for a person to get over an incident, no matter how small in magnitude it was. As opposed to how GOD forgave the world of all it's sins combined, through Jesus.

And it hit me... it's just the way they were 'programmed'. And of course the other huge fact; they are not GOD.

So can they be de-programmed. Now I think that all depends on if they want to be or not.

To me it's like losing weight. Some people seem to do all they can to get rid of a few pounds and it never goes when they want it to, until some crisis comes along. Others, well others are open to change depending on their level of openess.

It's hard for a person so set in their ways to forgive or forget an issue or major inconvenience in their life. Weather it was via a person, place or thing.

Dwelling on that issue can be extremely detrimental for forward progress. There is only one other viable option in that case. When down and out and there is no way to deal with it... you are gonna have to shut up and do like the pic above says:

GET OVER IT
